It is easy to prophesize the political outcome of any country specially when most of the public of that country is literate and aware of political benchmarks. The Americans fall in that category as they know the democracy and have good understanding of the outcome of political moves. They are not similar to the public of developing country where giving vote is an event and a tradition and no more. In America there is ideological and pragmatic politics. Moreover, they want America to remain superpower and the leader of the globe. For all these desires to be fulfilled the conservative style of government is required. A style that protects their industry, secure their borders and talk like a bold leader owning the world in its words at least. Trump has fulfilled most of the demands for that. The construction of wall around the Mexican border, banning of foreigners from entering America for long or permanent stay, adoption of protectionism in commerce and trade, withdrawing from the global commitments which they feel shall hurt American interests and controlling areas of influence of adversaries e.g., south china sea, are all the manifestation of trump’s ability to read American minds. The prompt withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan and non-interference in the proxy wars started by his predecessors would save huge money and reduce the tax burden from the citizens of America. This is another scoring point for the incumbent president.

  Certainly, there are defects in trump’s personality and style and there occurred failures in his handling of different situations for example in controlling the pandemic covid-19 and recent eruption of racism. But these are the unavoidable gaps found in each person. The question here is not about the perfection of personality but capability of Donald Trump to comprehend the psyche of Americans. It is here where one expects the winning of Trump the next time.
